For about 50 years in Doorn NL, the Stichtse Aanspanning, a tour with horses and coaches is held. Each year, the third Sunday in August, formerly over hundred, but nowadays less, the proud owners, dressed in appropiate clothes, show their coaches and horses as style examples.
This picture is of a four-horsed stage coach that headed the long procession. Just seconds after I made this photo, the horses panicked, and the man in green had much trouble to calm them again.
