This is the barrage in the Valleikanaal (valley canal) near Woudenberg NL. Here all the pictures in this series were made. The barrage itself is softly painted and in this way it has a pictural quality that surpasses the industrial concrete and metal construction. In this way it adds to the duality of the pictures themselves.
