At the premises of Huis Doorn (Doorn NL), the last residence of the German Emperor Wilhelm II in 2022 a festival was staged, focussing on history. A roman legion, a medieval battle, a ‘Schutterij’ as in Rembrandt’s Night Watch and a Napoleonic battle were staged, alongside many other smaller appearances.  Looking at the photos you will get a sense of how it might have been.
