In Cusco in the month of June celebrations are the order of the day. Almost daily extensive parades are held on the Plaza the Armas with villages from the region presenting themselves and their dance groups. But very often there is also some pun, like this figure mimicking and mocking the so hated conquistadores and their descents, the rulers of the country for centuries.
