South of Lhasa lies the valley of Yumbhu Lagang with very fertile soil, a sort of corn treasury for the ruling Dalai Lamas. There is a fort that oversees the valley. This is the view form the fort over the valley. This is an infrared picture, different from B&W, the cold things get dark and the warm things get white, hence the white trees.
