Upis is a cold spot. In the night it freezes and in the morning the tent will be very stiff. You really need good camping gear to hang out here. Upis also has a mineral bath that is very hot. You can get in by yourself, but after a while someone turns up who asks for money. It became never clear whether this was lawful.
