And then over the Palomino pass, just under 5000m height, is the most breathtaking view you can meet, to have full sight of the mountain, or of the Apu, if you want. With some phantasy you can discern on the mountain a feline figure, the Apu Ausangate. last time I was here in 2014 the weather was perfect just for the first time, and sitting there and looking at the mountain I was unable to go on. The view was just too much, too beautiful to go on. My paqo, don Juan, talked to me and then said: I had to be struck by lightning to become a paqo, but you are chosen by the Apu himself. And thus it felt for me too, to be chosen.<\/p>\n<\/div>
